Order On Lock-down In Territorial Jurisdictions Of Revenue Districts In Gurugram To Stop Spread Of COVID-19

Government Of Haryana has issued order on lock-down in the territorial jurisdiction of revenue districts of Gurugram, Faridabad, Sonipat, Panipat, Jhajjar, Rohtak, Panchkula from 9 pm on Sunday 22nd March 2020 to 31st March 2020, stipulating the following restrictions:

i. No public transport services including operation of taxis, auto- rickshaws will be permitted. The exception will include transport of all kinds to and from hospitals, airports, railway station, bus terminals/ bus stands and for the purpose essential services.

ii. All shops, commercial establishments, offices and factories, workshops, godowns etc. shall close their operations except for essential services mentioned in Para below.

iii. All foreign returnees are directed to remain under strict home quarantine for a period as decided by local Health Authorities.

iv. People are required to stay at home and come out only for basic services while strictly following social distancing guidelines issued earlier.

Apart from Haryana, several other states like Delhi, Goa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, UP, Karnataka, Assam etc have issued orders for lock down in their respective state in order to stop the spread of COVID-19

This is the time when everyone needs to stay home.
